Every painting listed for sale is an original oil painting. What is sold is a licence to a high-resolution digital file of that painting — a digital edition — delivered to you electronically. The original canvas is not sold and is not provided to you. Each listing shows the medium, dimensions, year and price of the original painting the digital edition is taken from; prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
An order is confirmed once payment has been processed in full. Because each painting is unique, once a piece is sold it is removed from the collection and cannot be purchased again. Commission orders are confirmed once you have agreed the price, size and lead time in writing and paid any deposit requested.
Commissioned work is painted to the brief agreed with you at the quote stage. Lead times shown on the Commissions page are typical, not guaranteed, and may vary with the complexity of the piece and the studio's current workload. The finished commission is delivered to you as a high-resolution digital file; the original canvas is not provided to you. See the Refund Policy for how commissions are handled if a project does not proceed.
Digital editions are delivered electronically — by download link or emailed file — immediately after payment is confirmed. Purchasing a digital edition grants you a personal-use licence to the file only; it is not a sale of the underlying copyright or of the original painting. You may not resell, redistribute, mint as an NFT, or use the file for any commercial purpose without the artist's written permission. The artist retains copyright in every painting and in every digital edition of it, including commissioned work, unless a separate written agreement transfers it. Purchasing a digital edition grants only the personal-use licence described in Section 5; it does not transfer copyright and does not give you the right to resell, redistribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the image.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pietri Group LLC's liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
